Everblue Clean, Luxe Body & Hair Care is Affordable and High Quality.

The clean and affordable beauty products are growing at an incredible rate, allowing people to enjoy the best of both worlds. New Zealand’s Everblue is the newest luxury hair and bodycare line. It was launched exclusively in Countdown Supermarkets across the country on 21st June. Made in New Zealand, the premium range is made from vegan and cruelty-free PETA certified ingredients. The Kiwi-owned company is planning to launch a wide range of products, including clean and sustainable salon quality haircare, haircare bar, Body Washes, Hand Washes, Hand Wash Refills and Hand and Body Bars.

Jade Hart, co-founder of everblue (right, above, with COO Renee), set out to solve the problem that most natural hair and skin care products were either too expensive or didn’t perform as well as their chemical-laden alternatives. Jade Hart, co-founder of everblue and one of New Zealand’s largest and most experienced manufacturers created affordable-luxe after extensive development. Jade is a friend of mine and I can confirm that she never leaves the house without glow-ups. She has done her research and found a product with great efficacy at a reasonable price. Each product is made with natural ingredients, such as Kawakawa native to New Zealand, Manuka, and Elderberry.

Jade is partnering with Renee Lee who will bring her expertise in global operations and marketing to her role as COO of everblue. Jade has a background in PR and marketing, having worked on brands like Skinfood, essano Moroccanoil Unilever Little World and OPI.
It’s about feeling good about ingredients, results, where it’s produced, and the purpose of the company that makes it.

Renee continues, “We saw a market for natural, clean, hair and body products that worked without a hefty price.” The shoppers want more from their everyday products and they should. “Our goal was to design products with a modern aesthetic that would have less impact on the environment, and also exceed expectations for how natural products could perform.”

Grant Taylor is joining the duo. He’s a well-known FMCG industry figure, having founded Rascal & Friends Nappies, a hugely successful FMCG company. Taylor won the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2019. He sold the company in the year 2020. Everblue is his new sustainable venture. Everblue’s team hopes to expand the brand beyond Countdown stores after its initial launch.

Everblue’s fragrance collection consists of four collections that embody the feelgood philosophy:

Empower– to empower yourself and others. The Empower collection includes natural extracts such as Gardenia, Peony and Cocoa Butter.
Mindful – To have a calm, contented mind and to live in the moment with gratitude. The Mindful Collection contains extracts from Elderberry, Manuka, and Aloe.
To be Fearless is to have the courage and adventure to face adversity. The Fearless Collection contains extracts of Vanilla Rosehip Shea Butter.
Aspire: To have goals and aspirations that you do not have to hide. The Aspire collection includes natural extracts from Kawakawa, Jojoba, and Peppermint.

To reduce waste, all bottles are made from recycled plastic. All bars are FSC-certified and have packaging that is plastic free. Everblue is also launching refills for their Hand Wash, and they plan to launch refills for their hair care products later in the year.
